Noise immunity of modems with two-dimensional signal constructions based on precise formulas of fadingless channel-error-probability and with common four-parameter fadings
Abstract
We discuss the noise immunity of modems with two-dimensional signal constructions in fadingless channels, channels with common fadings and with white noise during coherent reception. A new special integral S-function with includes the H-function, Laplace’s, Owen’s, Nicolson’s, (generalized) Marcum’s fuctions is introduced. The S-function allows for a systematic calculation of error probability in the channel with common four-parameter fadigs and white noise during coherent reception.
