Optimization of the coverage area for the cellular communication systems in out-of-town locations
Abstract
The problems of rational allocation of basic cellular communication station retransmitters at the out-of-town surroundings using digital cartographical information are discussed. The decision is achieved by a presentation of the objective function and restriction of non-linear programming task in the form of Boolean values. We also show that the task can be reformulated as a stochastic programming problem with restriction probabilities.
