Extension of relational model for database security
Abstract
There have been presented relational model extensions for database security during data access based on Bell La Padula mandate model of security. These models unlike existing models provide reference integrity according to the standard manner. It is accomplished by dividing the original relation scheme into two schemes — «the key scheme» and «the data scheme». There is the apparent key of original relation in the key scheme. This approach provides reference integrity and excludes keys duplication in case of multiform implementation.
