Potential Efficiency of Impulse Signals Detection with Non-Uniform Time Quantization
Keywords:
Time Quantization, Eigenvalue, SNRAbstract
Non-uniform time quantization of the optimal form signal by displacing one of the references to the neighborhood of the point where the minimal eigenvalue of the correlation matrix is equal to zero is discussed. While testing simple hypotheses, it has been shown that the SNR for signals of finite energy and power, obtained at the output of the discrete matched filter using this displacement, can reach the most possible value. Some aspects of bad task conditionality and a priori uncertainty are considered.
