Video streaming in wireless environments using 802.11 adhoc network protocol is considered. The quality of video streaming is measured by means of the peak signal-to-noise ratio and end-to-end latency of a decoded video. The effect of video encoding rate on the performance transmission is analyzed via simulation for two typical network topologies.
