Time Optimization of Segmentation Algorithm in Image Analysis System on the Basis of the Region Growing Method

The given paper sets the task of optimization of time expenses for the image analysis system. An optimized algorithm for implementation of the segmentation method based on the growing regions is developed. Theoretical estimations of time complexity of processes for the original and optimized algorithms are shown. Effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is proved analytically and statistically.
