Collision Resolution in Radio Frequency Identification Systems using Tag Identifiers
Keywords:

An average delay of the tree algorithm using tag identifiers and successive interference cancellation procedure is calculated to resolve collisions for Radio Frequency Identification systems. The average delay of the algorithm is demonstrated to be greatly smaller than the average delay of the algorithm described in ISO/IEC 18000-6 standard. The influence of the successive interference cancellation procedure errors on the performance of the collision resolution algorithm is investigated.
