Optimization Method for Dynamic Systems Containing Nonlinearity Type of the Dead Zone

Some issues concerning provision of dynamic characteristics for an automatic control system of a turboshaft engine have been studied on the example of a fuel flow control loop. The analysis of optional control methods increasing accuracy, response time and improving transient processes has been conducted. Linear proportional controller, modified PI-controller, time optimal controller and variable structure controller have been considered. A comparative analysis of the controllers under study was done. As a result, the best controller in terms of the required control quality and simplicity of its practical implementation was selected.
